Hi Ken,

I was wondering if it was possible in the future to have a place where we could actually type in text in a box on a spot play so that it would appear on the right side along with the spot play criteria. A couple of examples are to put in a quick note about the play such as " fr1=1 a plus with this play" or "profitable at off odds above 3-1" or to give the play a name for quick recollection of the type of play.

Thanks,

Bernardo

That's a good one BW - thanks for the suggestion. A tag line for each spot play #.

I thought about it too. My idea was to have an option to print out all of your plays in order with the key criteria listed. So it would be a master list. On the other hand, it would be difficult to list all the filters and items and could get messy and long; so maybe your idea for a user typed summary makes more sense for a concise master list. I"ll work on it.

YES--indeed!! Add my name on this one! I have right at 200 spot plays. It would be IMMENSELY helpful to have a readily-accessible way to access info re each. I'd like to at least display win % (approx--I know, of course, that it varies), and avg. payoff. That way I can distinguish between my own "mortal locks" and longshot plays. Bill

I would really enjoy the same. ROI per spot over the last 10-20 etc plays(days) or even just %.

I realize this is processor intensive, so even limited info is helpful.

Tag lines or spot titles would be useful.

Crownx, welcome to our board, thanks for posting

- the Daily Report has the day by day totals on your spot plays. Choose a spot play and click "Daily Report" button.

Thx for the input on the summary page everyone, i'm on it. Will add something to the Spot Play Workdesk for getting a master list and perhaps tagging them.

Greetings,

Is such a feature currently available to apply multiple Spot Plays?

So far I am able to do All or Single but was wondering if I can turn on 10 Spot Plays and not have the Robot run all.

Sure, I can click on the Delete Button for those I don't want to run but I don't think so.

Brainstorming.

Thanks

Sly

Sly, no you can't select specific plays right now. That would make a nice future addition though and has been requested by many.

I'm workin on it ...

KM,

"• How can we use the existing ratings to our advantage with a filtering method such as the XFIG found in HTR2. Filters are the key to successful speed figure analysis with tight fields." Quote from Mar 2010 NL.

This thought has provoked me for a little while.

Permit me to rephrase: Could the XFIG filters and Sorts be easily added into the Robot2 for testing and Spot Plays?

The Sorts I refer to are the Purse, rPac, rPer, Pac, Per, fps, FR3, and Fig

XFig Filters are those with the various Options (9) or maybe just the Default.

I do see where a problem may exist due to any one horse can actually get multiple Ranks from the Top 20 Displayed but in such a case a skip feature may be worthy of consideration.

Could this be a related Thread: http://www.homebased2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9203&highlight=fig+screen

Thanks

Sly,
The items that are based on the horse's PP lines from XFIG would be difficult to add to the Robot.

Purse is a good example. In XFIG, it just sorts the screen by the highest Purse dollars. But to put something like that into Robot2 would require extensively ranking every single Purse from each horse's PP lines. It is not likey even an experienced db programmer could pull that off and have an option such as "Best Purse Ranking Last 180 Days".

The difference between a sort and a ranking is important. Although basically the same thing, a sort is just a display heirarchy in a visual context, while to get rankings into the Robot is a far more complex task because it has to be held in a variable and memory for on-demand filtering and requires a ton of programming.

KM,

Thanks for the reply. I kinda figured it to be a tough nut to crack.

Thanks Sly, can't hurt to throw ideas out there.

I need 36 hour days. There is a finite amount of time that can be set aside for programming, testing and implementation. A diminishing return exsists for many projects we would love to have but realize that the benefit doesn't out weigh the effort needed to get it done.
