One interesting thing I notice when creating my spot plays is that races that are designated
"F" on both/either Top and Bottom do not have a very good ROI. Most of my plays are designed to pick-up on high price winners. The C's and D's races consistantly show the highest ROI's. My conclusion is that "F" races are just difficult to find positive angles because they are so unpredictable and thus the ROI lags. Any thoughts ?

That is a very good observation Mike. While test results show the "F" does decrease the win rate for Favorites for sure, it may also be an indicator (such as Chaos) that the race is a total crap shoot and there is no predictability at all. That might hurt your spot play results as much as the chalk.

re: FAV1 or FAV2 grade = "F" shown in the header.
