KM (when you get back from your well-deserved vacation) or the Mayos or anyone who may have an insight - on Page 3 of the most recent "HTR Report" are 2 lists of Robot2 filters that were used to filter out the most likely chalky races and project some likely price horses. Noticeably absent from the lists are the $ and $$ from the Robot2 Angles and Systems screen. I'm curious why that is. It seems to me at least that they should be good for the purpose of finding price horses; in fact, I've believed that is the reason for their existence. I understand that the horses that the filter lists provide are meant to be subject to futher screening but I've always thought of the $ and $$ as initial screens to find horses for more careful scrutiny as well.

That could be done edw, any $$ that survived those filters were automatics for us. Those filters are less restrictive than than $ and $$ (those requires 6/1 up for instance, we set it for 5/1) so we gave ourselves a slightly different pool of horses to consider.

The important thing is that we were quickly able to identify the races and a basic pool of live price horses to fish from. If they happened to have a $ or $$, then that was a bonus.

Thanks, Ken. I see the value of the distinction. Hope you had a great vacation.
