How do users run tests going back more than a year, as many posters to this site appear to do.
I've been deleting all races more than a year old so they don't turn up in my daily spot plays.

Not sure about everyone else, but i used to do it with Access.
Now I only keep exactly 1 year in my folder and use the robot or export that 1 year to Access.

The main thing to remember is that you can not have files of the same name in one directory.
The HTR race files do not have a year identifier in the file name so if you keep adding files to the same directory year after year they over write files with the same name.
You have to decide on how you want to keep your files.
I keep a directory with the current last year. For example at the end of June 09 I would delete all the files in my directory for Jun 08 and then add the Jun 09 files.
There are some tricks for keeping more than one year of data for a single track in one directory but that is in a separate thread.

What I do is save all of my files in monthly folders - going back a few years - as well keep data for various tracks in specific folders for those tracks, arranged by year. Then, when I want to test historic data, I change the folder in Robot to the folder containing the data I want to test.
