Dan, (or anyone who might know), can new pace tops, from the PPX screen, be tested in the Robot?

Use the Fr1 Top in Robot2 for that purpose. It's on the Angles screen.
I found FR1 Top more indicative than PAC or E/P, so it was my choice for a pace "Top"
Dan can test PAC top for you in Access, that is found in the Export.
Robot2 also has A/P Top and "Projects New Top"

Ken’s advice is right on as usual; Maybe someone else Steve has hit on the right way to research pace tops, but I think its one of the more difficult factors to test.
It’s so depended the next choice of race and within certain trainers it’s actually a negative. My DB is STILL under repair :eek: (Ken; HOW do you program so quickly! :cool: ), but I had these notes scribbled down and they might still be worth checking out. Robot mavens are way ahead of this chicken scratch; believe me.
Improved performance (pace top):
• Artificial sprint last to a dirt sprint. +++
• Artificial route last to a dirt route. +
• Quirin pts =8 (all dist / surf except turf and artf routes) ++
• Positive rider switch & drop in class (the larger the drop in company the better btw) ++
• Any trainer switch to top ranked trainer. ++
Performance decline (pace top):
• Dirt sprint to Turf route: XX
• RS = 5 like usual underperforms. XX
I tried to hit on some general stuff and leave out some of the angles we need to keep in house. :)
