The July 4th update to Robot2 will be posted in the Subscriber Zone as soon as webmaster Rick is ready with it; he'll make an announcement.
This is the final update prior to the seminar July 22 and it is very extensive.
The CONNECTIONS module is now available and is fully described in the Extracts #3 that will be available in the Subscriber Zone asap. You can now use a Trainer, Jockey or Sire as a filter and the results are astounding.
But the new version has many new filters in addition.
POST POSITION
This is a range filter, set it to any parameters you wish including invididual posts, use in tandem with field size. The Learn More has a complete stat set as well.
FR1 TOP
A/P TOP
PROJECTS NEW TOP
FIT AND READY
Those last two are exciting new filters and the algorithms very clever. The "Projects New Top" gets a very high win and itm% and the "Fit and Ready" is an ROI booster. The formulae for these two filters will not be released.
ML FAV1
ML FAV2
NOT ML FAV1
NOT ML FAV2
These correspond to the Chalk Evaluator Grades. The "NOT" versions are a great way to beat the public and get around chalk in your tests.
Remember, this is still a beta-version so please report any errors, bugs are problems you encounter so we can improve the Robot2 - thanks!

Sorry guys. I am taking a holiday.
Should be about an hour.
I still have to finish my morning workout and finish proofing CE3.
I'll get there eventually --- at least by the 4th.
Happy Holiday.

Now you're talkin Bill, public will not know that - let alone the jockey himself. The best use of the Connections is with the HTR proprietary ratings as 'bam discovered. The public and the DRF crowd won't have a clue and you can exploit it.

I dont know if this is the right thread. I just encountered a problem. When I clik on the longshot or post time link in HTR2 . I get the following errror message "Run-Time error '75':
Path/File access error file"

It also happens when I run the auto scratch

Spike, please use the Tech forum for error reports.
My HTR2 working fine on all of those options, no crash and no reports from other users today.
You may have encountered a corrupted or zero byte file. Try clicking through each race card individually and see if one of them crashes. Or delete them all and download again. This can happen if the download has a momentary glitch.

Ken - you're probably surprised that its taken this long for this question to come up but, in any event here goes?
Are either Projects New Fig Top or Fit and Ready available anywhere in the regular HTR screens? Or, better yet, (he cringes while asking) an export?
km
4th July 2009, 05:04.17 PM
We are finished with Exports for 2009, but those two are perfect for $ and $$ additions (assuming ML 6/1 up). So if i weave them into the $ and $$, you'll get them in the Export indirectly.
I'm undecided right now on letting the cat further out of the bag with those two.
Caught a nice "New Top" and K=1 at BEL Dwyer winner 6/1 just now......

Nice hit Ken - I had him on my spot play printout for today but, after having the past four or so New Top horses come in 2nd I didn't play the BEL race.
What I have found from early testing is some very interesting results for 2 year olds, MSW, 2TS, overall and 4/1 and up (off odds). They don't pay all that much but any play that offers decent win% and ROI with two year olds seem like a keeper to me.

Henry...you're scaring me....working a spot play based on 2 yr olds
.....says 75% place....so I played em both today to place.....guess what?....they both placed...one paid 2.6, the other 4.40. Let's see....2.60 + 4.40 = 7.00 - $4.00 (unit bet) = 3.00; 3.00 / 4.00 = 1.75 ROI....just slightly above what the ROI in the modeler said it would be.
Never was much of a "grinder" but this may get me started!

File under down the road… :o
I agree with Henry; these would be great additions to the export, but please don’t expose ANYMORE algorithms! :)
Along the lines of adding them to the nLONG $$ flags…for the export I think having the number go beyond “2” would be a great thing. If 2 and / or 17 HTR price factors come up for the same runner they will have a greater impact just like multiple running lines can imo.
BTW: This Belmont card was text book HTR from start to finish imo. Always easy to say after the fact; but so much of what this software provides and equally what has been taught over the years applied to this card.
Thanks for everything Ken & contributing members and a very happy 4th to our great nation! I can smell Donnie’s grill with some Iowa prime from here!!! :) :)

Steak for me as well! (actually a bison steak)
played a $5 pick 4 at AP - vintage HTR.
7th - singled the winner. FTS with 2 razors
8th - singled the winner K1
9th - singled the winner K1
10th - played 4 horses the 4 $$ horses
FYI to the HTR community -
The winner of the 7th (Deceptive Glory) was a REAL impressive 2YO winner.
There was a LOT of talk about the horse before the race and she delivered.
Sat behind the pace and just EXPLODED when the hole opened.
One to watch for sure.
Happy 4th to all!
