i would like to use the robot to determine the following.
When a horse has a tote odds of >5 how often does he win and how often is he ITM? No filters required.
Can i do this with the robot?
Thanks

You really can't do that in Robot II.
You can come close but under ODDS Type if you select TOTE you have to specify the range and you have to choose between 5/1 and above or 6/1 and above.
For >5 you would need the range to break down by tenths.
If you are happy with choosing one of the above then all you should need to do is click on Learn ALL.
I have done that and am waiting for the results.
Off hand I would think there are too many that fall into that range, but it gives you a place to start.
It would probably be a good idea to run Learn More and Learn X also.
The problem with using the tote range is that you never know what the off odd will be. A hell of a lot of the action comes in after the 1 minute to post or closer to post time and after.

Ed, you certainly can run a test with Tote Odds > 5/1 in either Robot with no other filters. Try it with LEARNX and LEARN ALL for some interesting results.
The results are after the fact, of course,.....
And as Rick said, you cannot use Tote Odds for spot plays going forward because who knows what the odds will be today until the races are over.
So any test results with Tote Odds are for reference only and you'll have to watch the toteboard, but 5/1 is a good ballpark number for finding factors that work with price plays. Go for it.
