Robot II has been designed for incurable data hounds!

Let's talk about systems. In the past, you had to take someone's word that a system or angle had merit or profitability. Often these were con artists trying to lure a quick buck, but sometimes they came from credible sources.

Example: the Beyer Double Advantage horse

With this angle, you look for a horse who's last two Beyer speed figures are higher than all the other horse's last two figures. Makes sense, should be an easy winner - DRF users love it for pick6 singles, etc. One problem: although it is a high % win play, it loses big time ROI (at least -20% or ROI<= 0.80).

The DRF, Beyer and anyone else touting this method has never produced solid documentation on the 'double advantage' because they know the overall results look bad on paper. But there are axioms about any system that should not be forgotten:

1) Nothing works all the time or indefintely.
2) Every System works some of the time or under specific circumstances
3) Sometimes systems and angles work remarkably well when certain other factors or patterns are added.

Robot II includes "Cramer Double Fig Advantage" as a stand alone filter. You can locate (2) and (3) above by using Robot II and discovering profitable ROI scenarios. And perhaps more importantly, you are acutely aware of when it is a failure and the public is making a big mistake. Obviously, double-advantage horses are very popular and usually hammered by the bettors, so knowing when they are likely to lose is a powerful edge.

By adding certain other factors from HTR, a spot play could be worked out and turn the double advantage into a solid single for the p4, or sure thing
Show bet, for instance.

Robot II gives you the opportunity to revitalize an old angle like this and make new discoveries with it. I'm adding a number of interesting systems and angles for you to work with and no longer be left in the dark about whether they are effective. Robot II makes the process of learning fun and easy and provides clear on-screen documentation to study and reformulate. And good news for "dummies" = there is no learning curve or db knowledge necessary, if you have our data downloaded for a month or more, you're good to go.

LOL JB, that's why you are such a good beta-tester

Whenever i buy books these days, i'm always looking for titles for "dummies" or better yet = "..... for idiots", "...... for the total klutz" and especially "....... for the complete moron". That way you can assume they wrote it for people who need 3rd grade level instruction for a subject like advanced calculus.

In the case of the Robot II, it is a sophisticated tool with highly beneficial output, but I created an interface that is so simple and labeled with pictures and boxes that any 3rd grader would feel comfortable using it right away

I’m hopeful this new Robot can tell Access users where to get the 5 years back on their life spent learning that monstrosity!!! :D

This sounds like a great way to launch 2009 KM…looking forward to it.

PS regarding MS Access: I never had someone like Donnie as a teacher; I was too cheap and went the book / hard knocks route and I don’t mind admitting there where moments of Norman Bates frustration involved.
