km has upgraded Resize32.ocx to the most current version.
If you download the 10 Sep 08 version of HTR2.exe and get an error message something like
“YOU DO NOT HAVE AN APPROPRIATE LICENSE TO USE THIS FUNCTIONALITY”
or you get any type of Resize32.ocx error you will have to uninstall your current version of HTR2 and download the 10 Sep 08 full install of HTR2.

Uninstalling HTR2 will not delete any of your racefiles.

What do you do in Vista to UNINSTALL programs?
Rick

Uninstall in Vista is easy.
Click on Start > Control Panel > Control Panel Home > under Programs click on Uninstall a Program > highlight the HTR2 install package > click on uninstall.

I'm kinda think that everyone is going to need to do the un-install/re-install.
I am on XP and as directed I uninstalled htr2 restarted my PC and then used Ricks link to reinstall htr2.
Worked like a champ HTR new versioin up and working!

I got the same error message. I'm running Windows 2000 Pro on this one. Didn't uninstall, just did the full install over HTR2. Seems to work great!
Perhaps this has already been asked or mentioned and I've missed it. I have one question with the "Razor Sharp" Item Filter in ROBOT. The razor sharp comment will possibly show on the WORKOUT screen with any workout since the horse's last race. Does the ROBOT filter look for a RAZOR SHARP comment within those works since last raced, or just look at the most recent work?

It looks for the Razor Sharp on any of the workouts listed since its last race or in the case of FTS those listed before its first race.

From Ken's explanation on the newsletter, it seems that any razor sharp workout that shows up on the workout screen (i.e. has taken place since the horse's last race) will be flagged regardless of where it is on the sequence.

That's correct Ariel, it is stated that way in the article.
I tested a number of varieties, including Razor Sharp such as "last workout only", Razor Sharp "over the track", etc. Nothing worked as good as just flagging the ones on that Clocker [W]screen. Since the [W] screen already has parameters of its own, a lot of the variety testing is unecessary. If the horse has a big drill like that in the past 28 days, it's fit and ready.

I run WinXP and just downloaded the update. Everything works fine.
On another note, a K-3, "Razor Sharp", FTS won the 6th at Bel today (9-11) and paid $37.
Doesn't get much better than that. Thanks again Ken.

Ken(for your latest innovative bonanza), Rick(especially) and to all who selflessly passed on install problems and fixes. It's 5:30 Friday morning and within the last 45" I've reinstalled the update on four annual HTR files.
Three years of your patience and digital answers to my neophyte analog questions, and last month's "hammers of Hell" first hard drive reformatting (successful), have left a sophomoric pride and sincere gratitude.
Great racing this weekend. Great group of people.

A great upgrade! And I also hope you keep it under wraps. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think there are several generic hints in the newsletter that could dilute it for members. Thanks again.

Question for Ken on razor sharp.
I know you added razor sharp to the export in September, but I was wondering how far back I can go to get the razor sharp indicator.
If I go back and re-export files how far can I go back in time to pick up the razor sharp indicator?

I don't think you have to worry Mike.
I just opened a 2000 file and the Razor Sharp shows up on the KM screen.
The export shouldn't have any problem with it.

correct, Razor Sharp is based on existing workout details that were present in our files since 2000. Should be fine with legacy db extraction 'Dee
