Ken,
Thoughts on the XFIGs in three areas:
1.
I'm not sure this is possible but one issue with the excellent XFIG screen is that under the "F" option it does not use "good" races. I surmise you probably only have "fast" and "off" as options but I think many people include "good" races, while excluding muddy and sloppy tracks, in their handicapping on fast tracks.
2.
I also wonder if it might not be better to limit the number of races that XFIGs scans to increase the chances of getting more recent races in the non-chronological searches. For example if you're tabbing on PER, IMHO it's better to see more recent races than going back to 9 and 10 lines ago. Would it be worth it to limit the scan to the last eight lines -- a compromise between locating great "back" figs and enabling HTR to rank more recent races?
The chronological search is great but even by limiting it via the "F" option you often only gt very recent races -- sometimes as few as the last 55 days or so. So this is a grand feature for determining best recent form/speed, but not for an overall look at the race.
3.
Another possible addition is putting exacta and trifecta prices next to the 2nd and 3rd place horses as a way of pointing to longshots which performed well when we're reviewing previous days' results.
Hope you had a good holiday.
cheers
