Would someone try and duplicate this please when they get a chance.

8/15/08, export all pacelines (1-7) into Access from HX4 and HXD. See if all pacelines are there for HX4 and check for parsing errors such as…

AP race-3, Pgm #3, paceline-7. etc… many more examples if needed. (BTW: CT Race-1, Pgm #8 PL-5 is really "pear shaped" :D)

All of these AP horses were missing 1 paceline and another 38 were missing more then one. Could very well be something I’m doing, but the only change I made was to export multiple lines instead of just “5”.

I just exported AP and ran the 7 PLs.

They all ended up with all 7 PLs in the db.

Double check your work.

Thanks Rick,

Time to get on the lab coat and figure it out!

I opened both export files up in Excel first to check the count of rows. They matched.

I then imported and created a query, joining both tables.

I then did your PL count.

Rick,

For what its worth to all those multiple paceline mavens out there…

The errors occurred when I had HTR opened 7 times and exported multiple pacelines all at once. I export HX3, HX5, HX7, HXV AND HX9…but only all 7 pacelines of HX4 and HXD.

I just did the same process one at a time (HTR only opened once during paceline export) with no issues. So…Possible issue when jamming multiple pacelines down one files throat that caused some parsing gremlins?

Thanks again for the verification!
