Is there a list of trainer/jockey stats that is sorted by winning percentage? I'd like to know the trainers and jockeys that win the highest percentage of races. Most lists I find are simply sorted by winnings.... Todd Pletcher for instance. Ton of winnngs, but his winning percentage isnt the greatest.
Anyone?!

Could be put together in Access if you are looking across tracks or circuits. Dunno if there is a list that can be sorted within the program.....although in the TLC there is a section sorted by Trainer number in each race. I guess you can do the same in the MaxVel program. Click on the V4 button, then on the TRN button almost directly under that!

Not familiar with the software... Think I'm going to buy the seminar e-book and try my luck with the software in a few months. I was looking for a website or something. Thanks for the help!

'Hungry = You need the Trainer Report Card -
Download the latest version of the Full Install (free) from our homepage. There are recent demo races from SAR and DMR; then click the [T] button in the top right corner to assess every trainer from outside his earnings. Click the [W] to get my clocker report commments and other trainer data related to workouts.
Trainer win rates are not a very productive angle. All trainers specialize and find a niche. We have a massive stat set in the Trainer Stats download but it is too similar to the DRF stats with just raw numbers and %. What do they mean? How can I find the strength and weakness of every trainer in today's specific categories such as how he does with 2yr, Layoffs or Turf Sprint?
That's what the Trainer Report Card gives you. Fast understanding of the key categories so you can easily locate pros and cons for each trainer. Pedigree and workout included.

I haven't put up the new full install with the SAR and DMR races yet but you can download at http://homebased2.com/km/dnl/setup-htr2-demoraces.exe
Your should always uninstall any previous installations of HTR2 before installing a new installation.
After installing, when there is a new version of HTR2.exe, all you have to do is download the new HTR2.exe into C:\htr\ and replace the old version.

I am liking this software more and more!! I'll definitely be a subscriber shortly.
Are the payouts for the exotics based on 1 dollar or 2 dollar bets?

you have to check each track to be sure.
I haven't checked lately but in the past I would check the free charts on Equibase.com for what type of bets the payoffs are for.
Someone else may be able to tell you an easier way to find the information.

The wager unit is contained in the comma delimited charts which I would recommend using for doing any independent database analysis. (I know it doesn't help when looking at the HTR screen :) )
