Hey guys,
I've been bettin the races for the last 2 years now... havent had much success. I mainly use past performances from Brisnet. Random horses at medium odds always seem to sneak in an kill my exactas or overcome my win selection. That's the story for all of us I'm sure :-)
Is the software worth it? Do you experience a higher ROI using that? I'm not even really sure what the HTR software consists of... I'm new to this.
Any help will be appreciated.

Ken,
Download the full install and take a look. It has sample races for HOL & BEL for 12 - 13 Jul 08.
After doing the full install, you can also download MaxVel.exe.
http://homebased2.com/km/dnl/setup-htr2-xp.exe for full install.
http://homebased2.com/km/dnl/maxvel.exe for MaxVel
http://homebased2.com/km/library.htm for HTR Library with Articles and Newsletters
http://www.homebased2.com/km/help.htm for HTR Help Files
Take a look and then ask questions.

Looks like a ton of info... I'll have to read through the help files to figure it all out. Looks like it did a pretty good job of handicapping. Thanks!

You might find it worth while investing in the Seminar E-book.
km has done a great job of cosolidating some of the main strength of HTR2, old and new,
in a few pages.
It give some good ideas about how to use HTR2.
There are many ways to use HTR2 and if you put a dozen users in a room to handicap a race they might all do it differently all wouldn't agree on the same horse.

I left one out Mel's HTR Newsletters in a Nutshell (http://www.homebased2.com/km/pdf/Newsletters%20in%20Nutshell.pdf)
You should find that goes very well with the Seminar E-book.
Both are great reads and full of information.

Sounds good. I'll likely send you a check in a few weeks. I'll let ya know. I was pretty overwhelmed looking at the download you gave me... I'm assuming the e-book will teach me the ins and outs of how to use the software?
Thanks!!
P.S. How much is the subscription for the software a month? A hundred something?
