A new track is about to open its doors: Pinnacle Race Course (PNL), near Detroit.
Not a lot of info on this website
http://www.pinnacleracecourse.com/
Regular dirt and turf courses. No casino? If anyone has more information, let us know.
Is GDL closing?
Purses are well below < $10k except for the Michigan-bred races according to the condition book. So this is a minor track by definition. I assume most of the horses will come from GLD (Great Lakes Downs).
HDW will produce our racefiles for this track and HTR should handle it normally.
To get the opening day card, July 19, you will have to draw down this track from the HTR Internet site (won't get picked up in the software downloader yet - see below): http://htr.horsedata.com
(I'm not sure about John's Download Rat, but i'm guessing it will pick it up in an all burger?)
Eventually i'll be able to rate the track on track class and other parameters, for now it is defaulted to a "D" track (unknown or minor league racing). I will add this track to the Download list in the HTR2 software "Download Screen". There will be an update to HTR2 about July 20 prior to the seminar and it will be included at that time.
As far as testing in the Robot. Consider it "other tracks" for now. I'll incorporate it in a later update if necessary. Testing "other tracks" in the Robot is easy if you simply create a separate folder for it and run the Robot from that folder with the single track files.
