On the heels of 7/12 LAD, Equibase/track discord, may I humbly inquire on EMD 7/13.

Ron, have you a time threshold that accords these queries reasonable. I don't want to incur the wrath of your lettered, erudite observations. Quite seriously, thank you for addressing these nuisances.

Emerald Downs is still missing all the beaten lengths and lengths ahead information for the points of call in the 9th race as of 9:30am this morning. Equibase is following up on this. These 2 links show what Equibase and the DRF have published for that race, which is missing this information.

Please note that they both publish the information available. We have opted to only publish when the information is available and suspect information is either fixed or accounted for.

I realize this causes some problems for people but we deemed it less problematic to do it this way than to allow people to download partial or incorrect charts and then worry about whether everybody gets the correct charts.

Regarding time frame, this bbs is for everybody to share ideas, make pithy observations and ask questions, always respectful of other's intelligence (even if some of us are not smarter than a fifth grader or even Jeff Foxworthy). Anytime you have a question regarding data is the correct time to ask it. I have 2 monitors behind me that show what is missing and why, so its never the case that we have somehow "forgotten" about a chart - they stand out in bright mocking red.

The Louisiana Downs problem was a strange and isolated incident. Jim and I were watching the race at work on one of the TV channels and Jim wondered about where the 8 horse was. I checked our scratch report on the web site and told him the 8 horse did not scratch but the 7 did. Jim said the 7 horse didn't scratch - it just came in second! And indeed it did. We went to the LaD web site and they showed the 8 horse scratched, so we knew what happened. I called Equibase and they were well aware of the problem and were working on it.

Thank you sir. I agree and would prefer one correct file to partials or corrections. Future delays will require a week to inquire.

Nothing pithy this morning. Credit card expires 07/08, continues to 07/11 with same billing # but different "shadow" CID #...do you need any of this for monthly billing.

Hoping to meet you in Vegas one of these years I get there.
