I won't be going to Shakopee this weekend as we'll have family visiting from out of town. I'm also focused on trying to maintain my lead for the place and show points leaderboards for the TwinSpires contest (www.twinspires.com/content/leaderboard). HTR has been invaluable in identifying place and show "locks" in small fields for the T-breds and I'm using Brisnet for good pacer #'s for the buggies (trotters break gait too much). Ken's comment that standardbreds (at least pacers) are more "form-consistent" is definitely true (let's keep this secret to ourselves ;)). Arabians also seem to be form-consistent and I was very close to playing a mule race last week at Pleasanton.

I would bet if you wanna sit with the HTR gang, there will probably be room. If not, normally there is nearby! I'm not in charge of the tables....TommyC has the "in" with the ladies there..... but definitely some drinks together!
