There was a Ronald Williams playing in both contests but they are not the same person. Only one contestant finished in the top 30 at the NHC and five finished in the top 80 at the HWS. Despite the same tracks being used, I would not want this "challenge" as it seemed to be a logistical nightmare from the locations.

It is super hard going against the best at either venue, but playing both at the same time had to be near impossible.

If you even made it to both, I would say you deserve a hearty congrats!

Having never played in contest #1, I can only imagine juggling both events.

Can you say…

This was my first foray in either tourney but to attempt both was pure insanity. Kudos to everyone who tried and finished as well as they did.

Like most everyone else, I handicapped Thursday's SA card for the HPWS which was cancelled and then wasted precious time on Friday's OP card. After getting the donut on day 2 of the HPWS, I decided to skip the HPWS and focus on the NHC but was so sleep deprived that I saved a bullet for a horse scratched in the last race at SA. Needless to say I was contemplating on using it on the 10th race at Tampa. That silly mistake cost me 7th place which was worth 20grand. :(
