This come-on system ad has it all - click the link below
It's as though they summed up 40 years of of those mail order frauds into one ultimate sucker's dissertation
You'll like the part where the "doctor" says he accumulated years worth of Racing Forms to study and find the secret. He's a PHD and doesn't even download his data?! The cliche's and b.s. are piled high, so it's fun reading.
And the punch line --- wait until you see the Price for the "limited time offer" ;)

And for one recent contributor to this bbs, this ad may have been how he punched his ticket: "no experience necessary - no knowledge of horseracing necessary - win 58% on your money in 20 minutes a day".

KM-
I always like to do searches for the testimonial people....once again...no one home by that name. I'll start scanning some of those ads in those old Turf Monthlies I showed you and we'll put some of those up! They are a hoot as well!

That was priceless and very timely considering recent events. ;)
30 years of racing forms the good doctor has been toting around just so he can make his fellow man rich all for $37.77.
I don’t know which is more pathetic…the fact that he will sell some, or the fact that you have to make out the check to Bellevue psychiatric ward. :p
PS: I love the line where he describes losing a race like swallowing copper wire. The good Doctor gets originality points for that one.
Thanks Ken…I needed a good laugh today. :D

From the following link, the home page of Dr. Jeffry's site.:
http://www.bettinghorseracing.info/index.html
This entire website is better than an SNL skit.
When asked about other systems, he is what the doctor had to say: “So you bought other systems in the past and they didn’t work. You should have known they wouldn’t work. What they were selling you was pie-in-the-sky promises. It is impossible to win using a system that is touted as sure-fire using some method concocted by a scam artist in his bathtub.”
In his bathtub?
"Jean-Paul, I'd like you to meet Dr. Jeffry....Dr. Jeffry, Jean-Paul. You two relax and get acquainted, Charlotte should be here any moment."
The researcher and writer of “A PhD’s Guide To Winning At The Races,” Dr. Jeffry Weiss assures us that, “”It is impossible to lose when you rely on my statistics accumulated over thirty years and 7000 races.
Whoa, slow down Doc, that's almost two/thirds of a race a day!
But there is some real irony and humour here.....look where the doc picked up his Bachelor's!
The doctor’s formal education took place at Drexel University (B.S. - Accounting), Temple University (M.B.A. – Statistical Analysis), The University of Pennsylvania (M.A. - International Affairs), Clayton College – (Ph.D. - Mathematics). Doctor Weiss was a stock market analyst and investor, and put out his own mutual fund newsletter. And he was a day trader for five years.
A day trader....hmmm...I see a pattern.

From another site:
http://www.insulitelabs.com/articles/Why-We-Eat.html
Jeffry Weiss attended Drexel University (B.S.), Temple University (M.B.A.),
the University of Pennsylvania (M.A.), and Clayton College
(PhD, Naturopathic Medicine).
This dude is just a font of knowledge (and PhD's )

Reading books is so passe...so 1990's. Get with it boys.....this is the 21st Century! I only have a few of these left, but I'd let them go if the price is right! First come , first served!

WOW! $15 buys a lot Donnie! Put me down for one! :D
As for Dr. Jeffrey, he is amazing finding people who need to work 3 jobs, yet have $5,000 to start with his system on the first day.
C'mon Doc, give me a testimonial of a guy who started with enough recycled bottles and cans to make his first 2 dollar bet and now he is a partner in Microsoft.
If this guy was working 3 jobs and had $,5000 stashed and took it to the track, he would be divorced and his stuff tossed in the street before he got home!

The low price is laughable, but it was probably as well thought out as the rest of that diatribe. Even if they sold 2000 copies of the system, the profit after expenses and taxes is not worth the effort. So....
At best:
the object is draw people in, getting their names and contact informaition for a mailing list of suckers to sell again. Usually, the $33 version is just the lure, but to get the "professional" version of the system you'll need another $500. Or they'll sell your info to other mailing lists of horse racing system buyers or keep you going with more and more goodies that they dream up later.
At worst:
They sell the information to the criminal underground. They'll have your credit card # and name + address + email, and that information is as gold to the Nigerian con gangs, East Euro computer mobs or identity theives everywhere who will pay well for that data.
This would be more likely if the website has been setup outside the USA.

I remember buying something from American Turf Monthly as a teenager. Months later and not ostensibly related, a telegram from Western Union let me in on a "good thing" at Bowie the following day...just bet $20 for the tip and remit the proceeds.
I actually did it, betting $20 for me and my pal through a local bookie. A fool and his money are soon parted.

It seems remarkably similar to the golf club ads. I don't fall for this stuff, however, I have a garage full of can't fail golf clubs. They need to make a computer program to help golfers.
Ken.....?
