1. The place horse killed everyone. Linda thought she had the exacta, but Congaree
got nipped at the wire. Fortunately I had a couple of P3 tickets to save my bacon.
2. Monarchos won born about 10 miles from here. Maria's Mon (sire) stands for only $7500
and the mare was purchased for $14k. She was bred back to Maries Mon on Derby Day.
3. John Ward is a nice guy but contraversial. Some don't like him at all, and some say he is only
good with young horses. This has shocked many people here.
4. I used a simple filter for the Derby (last 4), LRF <4, + E% between 50 and 52,+ TJ>19%.
This has all the winners of the last 4 years, but only 1 or 2 of the exactas. Next year,
I will take the top 5 with all for the exacta.
