I want to look all horses that are both 1,2, or 3 in EV and 1,2, or3 in L
How would I set these paramters in an Access query?
Thanks to anyone.

Tom,
Not sure what "L" is but just use "<4" in both.
That will give you all the 1, 2, 3, horses in both.

You would also need to use >0 because horses without data get a 0
or you could use
Between 1 and 3
or
>=1 and <=3

Thanks, guys.
I phrased that wrong, though. What want to find is horse that are 1-2-3 in either EV or Lv,
so a horse rated 5-1 or 1-5 would be picked up.
I am noticing that upwards of 80% of winners at certain distances and tracks are either
1-2-3 in early or late and that anything 4-4 or worse can be thrown out. Wnat to check out long term stats on this idea of contender selection.

you need to do a 2 line OR query
on the 1st line for FR1 put 1 or 2 or 3 now go to the second row of the creitera section put 1 or 2 or 3 in the lp field.
make sure that any other filters that you use are exactly the same. If you are putting any distance, class or surface make sure that you enter these exactly the same on both lines of your query.
