When I used to make my own speed figures (Beyers) I noticed that the beginning of the week was always much slower than the weekend. With that in mind, my theory is that the track profile can change as the week progresses. My visual observations at Delmar convinced me of the same pattern. I don't know if anybody noticed a huge change in track profile from the day before the Pacific Classic and the day of. But I'm of the belief that Skimming had a huge bias in his favor. What do you think?
