Test parameters:
- horse comes back after a layoff and wins or runs WINF
- the horse is brought back after this effort and stepped up in class
How can I set this up in Robot?
Thanks,
Randy

Randy
Put Checkmark in the "Layoff Range" box
Within that box, check () 2nd (second after layoff)
Check the box for "WINEF Last"
This will test all horses coming off a layoff that ran big.
There is no specific box for "Class Up" item on the Robot but click the LEARNX and scan the following stats areas =
Class(-) which would indicate a horse that has never competed at the level, so probably UP in class
Class(+) the opposite, indicates a horse that has already competed at the level
'Drop in Class' = if the results are poor for this one, then you have what you want as the opposite will be true
Overall results will be indicatative as to whether the angle is effective with any class changes
I'll run your exact spot play through my database for last 365-day and post the results here asap.

One additional note for setting up "second after Layoff"
Set the minimum Layoff range which is default [002] to a higher level, say 45 or 90 days minimum.
example set it to =
[090] to get all the "2nd after layoff 90 days or more"

Ahh, is this why I was getting 0 results?

I ran your spot play with the following parameters =
2nd after Layoff 60 days or more
WINEF Last
UP in Class (EPR - SOR > 1)
Last 365-days, Purse $10,000+
Plays: 3152
Wins: 504 (16%)
ITM: 44%
Win ROI = 0.82 (-18%)
Pla ROI = 0.80
Sho ROI = 0.82
I.V. = 1.32
