Comp Freezes....

Hi,

Sometimes when I am using the Robot feature to test spot plays, my computer freezes, and when the download completes, the roi screen does not pop up. Is there something in my settings that is doing this? it happens with about 50% of my tests.

It's probably not freezing Porgy, look at the hard-drive light, is it still flickering even though the display isn't refreshing?

What is really happening is that the display counter has stopped updating and appears to have stalled the test - but let it finish, it's fine. Most computers are faster than the ability of the monitor to refresh the screen, so the display freezes, but the robot is still going and will give you the output at the end. Keep an eye on your hard-drive activity light and you'll know it is still going.

I only use the Robot for ROI and not Get My Plays but have often had the robot ..pause.. then continue THEN the results (roi screen) does NOT appear.

well, minimize the Robot and there is the ROI screen!!

If this sometimes works for you then I will know that my computer is not the only one that Windows XP Home Edition screwed up again!

Also, which OS are you using?
