For data analysis types: I saw an article in today's Seattle Post-Intelligencer describing a company that's creating buzz for a product people with deep pockets on this forum might be interested in. Tableau "allows users to "interrogate" databases in such a way that they can quickly uncover important trends. It does that by creating visual diagrams and charts -- the heavy lifting of data analysis."
