ATRpro Version 4.29 is now available at http://homebased2.com/atr/atrpro_dnl.htm

Subscribers to Ken Massa’s HTR2 handicapping service can use their HX4 export file to create an alarm to alert them when a current race matches specified criteria. ATRpro automatically retrieves the data from the file ‘C:\HTR\ALL_HX4.TXT’ for today’s races.

The alarm can be as complex (including as many as 10 HX4 fields) or as simple as desired. For example, an HTR2 user can set up an alarm for ATRpro to sound an alert at 5 minutes to post whenever the Fr1 horse (the horse with the highest first fraction velocity ranking) has odds greater than 10 to 1, in a dirt race for claimers, at a distance between 5 and 7 furlongs. Or, an alarm can be set up to sound an alert at 20 mtp whenever there is a current turf race.

Documentation of the new custom alarm feature is available at http://homebased2.com/atr/dnl/ATRdocs.pdf starting on Slide 126.

I know the answer to this but maybe in your next release.....

if the fr1 =1 is scratched (reading the all_hx4 file) will it then look at the fr1 = 2 horse which would then be the fr1=1 horse?

hurrikane-

ATRpro does not re-rank the ranking values in the ALL_HX4.TXT file to account for scratches when checking for HX4 alarms.

The good news is that if you use the Auto-Scratch feature of ATRpro and HTR2 (described on Slide 108 of http://homebased2.com/atr/dnl/ATRdocs.pdf ) before exporting, and the fr1=1 horse was reported as a scratch, then the original fr1 = 2 horse would be correctly ranked as the fr1=1 in the ALL_HX4.TXT file.
