AT times my PC's mouse will freeze and when I reboot I get "keyboard error" the system freezes before it can boot into Windows.
I recently installed a new USB 2.0 drive but it worked fine for a few days until I got the error. I also inserted another 256K RAM stick (now at 512mg) and a 1394 Firewire card.
I use a wireless Logtech mouse with an MS Intelligtype Pro keyboard with USB slots on it. Win XP Pro.
WHen it happens the transmitter for the mouse -- which is plugged into the keyboard -- stops working.
Interestingly now its working but the transmitter and the keyboard are plugged into the old USB 1.1 slots and the 2.0 slots are empty.
Is it the obvious -- some issue with the new USB 2.0 card or its driver? Could there be some kind of conflict? Could the card have come loose (it was working before). Will I ever play the piano?
How come Netgear has such terrible customer service?
