Pizzaman;
Just printed out the manual and 1/2 through with the first read. Very good detail on 'What' but the 'How" part is not yet real clear, RE strategies - I suppose the obvious approach is where my ranked contenders reflect 'Overlay" bets, whether WPS and/or Exactas, Doubles and Quinellas. (I always tend to make things harder than they need be).

Question on the odds line: Thinking about using a Steve Fierro approach, however, assigning a line to my top four contenders would leave 8 horses in a field of 12 - all sharing only 20% of the line - I think this would screw up things for your program? Then, I could go with Ken's K-line, but the way I look at a race is not always consistent with the K-line (K-line may miss a stickout pace advantaged horse,eg; The only closer in a field of E and F horses; all with Quirin points of 7 or 8. (Had a $95 winner at DMR recently with just this pace setup- K-line would never rank that horse).

Is there a way I can use my top 3 or 4 contender line and complete the field with K-line? Does this even make any sense? Of course, I couldn' automatically select the K-line option, but I assume there is a way to input this to the ATRPro - Probably haven't read that far yet.

I would appreciate your comments

Thanks, Lee

Lee,

1) Import the KLine odds using the procedure described starting on slide 100 at http://homebased2.com/atr/dnl/ATRdocs.pdf

2) When a race comes up that you want to manually change some of the KLine odds values, follow the method described on slide 71 to bring up the Morning Line Form. If you imported the KLine odds per step 1, the odds listed on this form will be the KLine odds. After adjusting some or all of these KLine odds values, you can then click on the MAKE THIS M/L REALISTIC button on this Morning Line Form to make the adjusted lines into a realistic tote scenario.

If you want to bring in your modified odds for all races at once, it would be necessary to manually create a file and import it into ATRpro using the procedure described starting on Slide 72.
