field names in table

can a person delete the field name in the table and not cause any problem?

Why don't you explain what you are trying to do.

All sorts of problems come to mind, but it all depends.

Do you want to remove fields from your table? Easy. Just delete field in design view and modify import specification file to skip that field.

From what I have experienced in the past if the field doesn't have a name Access will give it one depending on its location, like Field32.
