New posts don't show

Rick,

When I click new posts I constantly get the no new posts returned (actually think it says your search returned no results).

Am I doing something wrong (I know, you're wondering 'is that a retorical question' :D )

Maybe there were no new post.

If you look to see if the Forum Contains New Posts icon is showing some where before clicking on the New Posts link.

Ok Rick,
give me a break buddy. It was early in the morning and I wasn't in the tequila.

yes, there were new posts but they did'nt show. It's been like this since the change.
I'm going to try a different browser and a shot of tequila and see if that helps. :D

For the moment I really don't know what to tell you.

My feeling is that if you are logged in and there are new post it should work.

The only time I use it is to test it and I have no trouble with it.

I will test it on the four browsers I have installed and will check the vBulletin site to see if anyone else has reported the same problem.

I use the new post feature all the time with no problems. One thing I noticed is that if you go to the board but don't read any messges and then come back to the board. It sets all the mesages as read even though you didn't read them.

yeah Mike. Seem to remember it always did that. PA's board doesn't and I think they use the same software. maybe it's just a setting.

The new post link works here at work but not on my laptop. That would mean it's something in the settings in IE or the firewall.

Either that or the fact that I don't drink tequila at work may have something to do with it.
