What type of confidence do you have in your selections and do you carry out your picks to the betting windows or do you let other opinions change your selections?

This is kinda funny buy my girlfriend picks out a $108 winner and $900 plus exacta last night. When she came up with her wager, I said to myself...She is out of her fricken mind!!! Whenever I do that, the scores big time...I just shake my head and ask her why she didn't wager more on the race....LOL!!!

BTW, she actually had a good reason to pick the horse. Check out the attached Trainer file for the race. All the trainers were nothing special except for the #7 who was had the best Dirt Route stats w/ 3.10 ROI and was 10% and 1.98 ROI with horses with 10-1 or better odds. Mabye a betting trainer...who knows...

Pick makes sense! Been using the trainer stats a lot more myself. Missed that one.

BTW, have a lady friend who bets only #3 or #5. Not every race. Just when it "feels" right. Usually at 30-1 or more. She makes a lot more money than I do. Love it when she asks, "what did your computer say?".
