I downloaded the new HTR2 upgrade this AM and exported today's DEL card using PL-5 to the new All_HX7.txt file. When I tried to import it into my HX7 table in my ACCESS database I got error warnings about bad data. Looking at the ALL_HX7.txt file it looks like there are duplicate non :confused matching records for the 1st race.

Looks like the Import Specification file is bad. That may not be your problem.

I am still trying to duplicate your problem.

Rick-Look at the comma delimited exported file. Mine has the horses in the DEL 1st listed twice.

I don't know if that was the problem but I fixed the Import Specification file for HX7.

I uploaded the fixed ALL_HX4.mbd dtd 5 Oct 04.

I was able to export and import all the races for today in HX7 without any trouble.

I looked at the csv file. I exported all tracks for the day and went back and did DEL by itself. I had no problem.

The primary key didn't catch any duplicates for me either.

Jerry

Did you delete the all hx7 text file and try it again? I didn't have any problems with my testing when I did all tracks to a all hx7 file and single tracks to a all hx7 file.

Make sure you delete all the records in your table to

Rick and Mike-The problem was with the DEL downloaded data files. Weird. I deleted the DEL files for today and re-downloaded from HDW and exported. The new comma delimited ALL_HX7.txt file was without duplicates and missing data.

The new htr2 is showing a runtime error 429 when I try the download. My fault?

I get the same error.

Looks like you will have to go back to the download cart till km finds the problem.

Ken has fixed the problem.

You can download the 6 Oct 04 upgrade of HTR2.exe.

If you don't use the built in downloader you don't need to download this upgrade.
