QUERY

I had saved 30 days of races for MNR. I went into my query today to look at something. I selected XPL5 and XFIN 1 and ran my query. I got 209,893 results. I went into my tables and there is only 11,047 horses in there. I went back to my query and found that each winner was being selected over ten times. Before I delete my tables out and start all over again, can you give me any help. Why is this and can I do anything?

Off hand I would say your problem is probably in your query.

Open your query in design mode. Click on View, SQL View.

Copy that and past in an email to me and I will take a look.

I just tried duplicating your query and I got the right results.

--You helpd me solve my problem. When you question table field ALL_HX4_1, I started looking to see why it was there. Here way off to the righ in my design view I had another ALL_HX4 table. Never new it was there. I deleted it an all looks ok.
I use those astricks in my criteria field so if I have the box unchecked and I leave the program I dont loose it.
