Computer Woes V2

I've been having some weird stuff happen, too.

Running Windows XP Prof

When turning off computer, it always gives me 2 programs running in background that I need to exit before the computer will turn off. Both are Explorer.exe. After I "end program" twice, it shuts down as normal.

The other maybe related thing is that when I click on a favorite and go to a page other than my homepage, the new page is always at half size as opposed to full size. Always have to "maximize".

Anyone have any idea(s) what this could be? Is not earth-shattering, just a PIB.

Sometimes when I open a window after I have closed out one of those "popup" ads that get by the Popup Stopper( that wasn't maximized) it isn't maximized like you said. Perhaps the browser window defaults to the last known window setup?

This may be a stupid suggestion on my part, buy here goes:

Stretch the window back to full size and then close it. When you open a new window again it should be full size.

Also make sure the last window you close when you're finished with your computer is a full size window.
