ATR Pro -HELP!

Just downloaded ATR pro. I love the software but try as I might I can't get the auto-scratch feature working. Can't access odds from HTR either. I followed Ken's instructions in the installation and set-up pdf (at least I think I did) but no dice. I can generate a text scratch list but I NEVER see the red auto-scratch button Ken refers to.

Any ideas greatly appreciated!

You may have to wait for Gary to return from the seminar.

This is what I do.

I have HTR2.exe in C:\htr

I have my racefiles in C:\htr\jul 04\

I extracted todays races.

I then open ATRpro, click on HTR Setup, I am happy with the default of C:\htr so I click on Accept location and Exit. (With the default set you shouldn't have to do this.)

Click GO.

Click on New (S) List.

Under Scratches click on For all. When done click Exit.

I think you need to click on Cycle and display all tracks on TRACK LIST often. Or just do it for the track you are going to watch.

Go to HTR2, I had left it open while doing the above, click on Sratch. The Auto Scratch from ATR box should be there in red. Click on it.

If that don't work for you, send Gary an email or get back here with your reply.

Thanks for the response. Got the scratch feature to work. Still can't get odds in the HTR program. I always get "Odds are not available" message even when I'm on line and have ATR open.

Any ideas?

Just that it only worked for me when I was on a track that a race was coming up soon and that track was one of the tracks that ATR was cycling through.

Also that HTR2 doesn't do an automatic update. You have to hit the odds button for it to update.

Make sure Option 20 in ATRpro is set to HTR.
