Friday's the late day now for most tracks. Last year they did continue the Gold Coast contest throughout the night action at HOL on Friday. CRC, AP, BEL, CD and LAD all have later posts on Friday now too and their cards will finish closer to 5pm than the normal 2-3pm Vegas time.
MTH was the only track with a post-time prior to 11am PDT today (Fri July 2).
Those of you that have information on the tourney tracks, maybe you can verify that they will be taking HOL Friday night again on July 16.
For myself (rip van Massa) and a lot of other HTR players, late Fridays are a godsend; the later it is, the more likely we are to score. For most other players, typically early risers and worn out by 3pm, it's bad news on party-Friday and they want no part of it.
They early risers have the advantage on Saturday though - there is so much action between 9:30am and 12noon on Saturday that the early birds who studied on Friday night and got themselves organized and prepared will snake any good ones before noon while others nurse their hangovers. But almost without exception at Coast tourneys, Saturday afternoon produces a key bomb or two that will shake up the tournament standings.
