I was gonna enter that contest but when I saw the one day event at Laurel I decided to stay closer to home - heck with the demise of Maryland racing who knows how long before Laurel will become a shopping center. I need to visit the place while I still can. I talked to the folks at Hawthorne and got some information, but really don't know more than what i posted on their web site at http://www.sportsmanspark.com/track/drf.php

there is typically 3 or 4 HTR people at LRL. Sue and I will be there. Usually Don and Gus come.

The elec layout for laptops doesn't let us sit together but we all get together and bs for a while before and after the tourney. Shouldnt' be to hard to spot any of us. The only people I have ever seen with laptops at the lrl tourney are HTR people and it's not that big a crowd.

Hopefully we can hook up.

Hurrikane - good to hear there will be company next Saturday. I'll be heading up on Friday and will probably be at the races for a bit on Friday to pick up Thoroquick for Saturday and scope things out for the contest - any chance anyone else would be around on Friday? My buddy George who was at the Nationals with me in January will be competing also. I'll be staying at the Fairfield Inn just down Route 1 Friday night. If anyone is interested in getting together for a bit Friday night let me know. I will have my printer with me so I can certainly print out any reports that someone might want.
