Hi Pizzaman,

The last email I rec'd from you made it seem that a new edition of ATR was going to be released to correspond with the racing channel's actions?

What is the plan?

Thx
DK

There is a new version posted.

Gary just hasn't sent out an email yet. Waiting for any feedback from some early users and for the P list to get their a few bugs worked out.

Go ahead and download.

Thanks for the heads up Rick,
I found a bug,
I go to use the S list and it will not update, unless you completely shut down and re-open ATR.

I have a question too, as a customer of phonebet.com the R tote is available at this URL http://tote.phonebet.com/WPSTAM-C.PHP

is there any way for me to put these URL's into ATR?

Thanks,
DK

I do not believe this is a bug in ATR regarding Supertote. Rather, Supertote is no longer updating the win/place/show pools, which ATR is coded to retrieve, on a regular basis.

The Racing Channel is no longer available as a free website, and ATR is not now coded to retrieve data from the 'login' toteboard websites. Work is in progress to replace the Racing Channel tote data with a new source.

Thanks for the speedy response and I eagerly look forward to the new tote source.
Including the doggie tracks would be nice.:)

Thx,
DK

Here's what appears to be a free link to the data?

ATR Version 2.81 is now available at http://homebased2.com/atr/at_the_races.htm This new version is temporary as it lacks many of the ATR features involving exotic pools that were lost with the loss of the availability of the Racing Channel as a source of free tote data. We are working on getting a new source of tote data that should restore all the ATR features. Your patience is appreciated as the details of the new arrangement is worked out.

A new Track List, called the 'P' track list has been added. This source of this tote data, which includes only win odds, is from the Pinnacle race book. Program data including morning line data, horse and jockey names and late scratches is available with this 'P' track list.

Version 2.81 gives ATR users the ability to submit manual and/or conditional bets to the Pinnacle race book. The conditional bet feature automatically submits bets only if they meet your minimum acceptable odds at a defined minutes to post. The ATR/Pinnacle interface also allows submitting of dutch/hedge bets created inside ATR with a few mouse clicks. When exotic pools are available to ATR, you will be able to easily submit complex "dutched" exacta or double bets that can provide significantly better returns that betting into the win pool. Documentation on betting with Pinnacle using ATR is at //homebased2.com/atr/dnl/ATR_Pinnacle_14_Jan_03.pdf

For your bets to register with Pinnacle, you have to register with Pinnacle as part of the "Pinnacle/ATR group". If you already have a Pinnacle account, you will need to send me your Pinnacle ID so I can forward it to my contact at Pinnacle. If you do not have a Pinnacle account or want to start a new account, you should use the link http://www.pinnaclesports.com?refer=xbox which would automatically add you to the "Pinnacle/ATR group" and you would not have to send me your Pinnacle ID. If you do not 'join' the "Pinnacle/ATR group" then Pinnacle may not except your wagers made through ATR.

Also, you need to understand that the initial Pinnacle rules for bets made through ATR are different from what is available at the Pinnacle website. This is what I have been told:

"For ATR players, we are going to give 6% rebate to start out with and 15,000 max profit per race (except for the tracks that have a normal limit of <15000, which will revert to their normal limits). The good news is if after the first month I am comfortable with the interface and the action coming in, we should be able to raise that to 25,000 max per race and our normal 7% rebate. I realize that due to the nature of the program, most of the bets will be quite late but if you can encourage your users to when possible get bets in a little earlier (even 1 mtp helps a lot), it would be appreciated. Also it will allow me to be more liberal with bumping up the rebates, limits, shut off times, etc."
