When I installed ATRProforHTR on my new laptop running Windows XP Ver. 2002 Service Pack 1 I received the following message:

"Error 1931. The Windows Installer service cannot update the system file
C:\WINNT\system32\sensapi.dll because the file is protected by Windows. You may need to update your operating system for this program to work."

I continued the install and ATR appears to run and I can interface with the HTR scratch and odds functions. I installed ATRProforHTR on my desktop, running the same XP version, previously without any error messages. I looked at the properties of the system32 folders and sensapi.dll files on both PC's and they are identical. Is this something I should be concerned about?

As ATRProforHTR appears to working fine on your computer, it should not be a problem.

According to a Microsoft Knowledge Base article ( http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;303970 ), the message means that your system has a different version of the sensapi.dll and that it has not replaced it with the version in the ATR setup file because the computer's current sensapi.dll file is "protected" and can only be replaced by a Microsoft system update such as a service pack.
