Yet Another Question

Guys,

I have been renaming the ALL_MSAC file after export to access to avoid confusion and duplication of exports. Thought it might be a good idea to save these renamed files to a CD or whatever in case of major computer crash and to clear up hard drive space. Long story short, something (HTR code?) is not letting me save these files to another source. I get an "Access Denied" message when attempting this save.

Admittedly, I can just go to the database and save it (was going to do that anyway), but why can I not save these files? Suggestions appreciated.

The ALL_MSAC files are just regular text files. You should have no trouble renaming them, moving, or copying them.

Your problem may be the way you are trying to save them to CD. What program are you using to try and write them to your CD?

On second thought, I think you would be better backing up the race files with results and charts. Ken is suppose to have a new export program sometime in the future for the windows version of HTR.

Do both??!!??
