Finally back into handicapping, thanks to Ken, Ernie & Tom Walters for the seminar, had a great time, learned more as usual. Dove into Access tonight, YIKES! I have to first 20 pages of the manual from last year's seminar and that got me started. Since I missed the seminar Saturday afternoon this year, I'm looking for any new manuals on Access that have been issued since last year.
Any help on how or where to get them would be greatly appreciated, can email to

Thanks, I have been reading this board for awhile, will need "MUCHO HELP"

Hi Steve
don't know of any other manuals, best thing to do is to review the posts on the Access section of the board. Lots of good info there. The other is just ask questions and the access regulars here will help you out.

Steve.
Which version of Access are you using.
I can send you the custom version of HTR4MSA.exe which just adds a few new fields. It is the version most of us use. I can also send you the access template for HTR4MSAC.exe.
The template that is on the website doesn't work properly but it is geared to the HTR4MSA, not the HTR4MSAC. I did the Access 2000 template and someone else set it up for Access97. All the files do not translate correctly when letting Access 2000 convert it to Access 97. Some things are lost.
There should be a message on the old discussion group about creating a table for Impact after you have the HTR4MSAC template.
The biggest thing about the template is that the fields are defined using the smallest field definition, which saves disk space, and it has the ROI report, that someone else made up. It also has the macro for importing new races and the import specification file.

Files on the way.
You didn't say which version of Access you were using, so sent 97 version, that Phil did.

I would like to thank you for the program. I have Access 2000. Will the 97 version work ok or would be better to have the 2000 version.
Thanks again!
