George:

What ratio do you look between the top HTR horse & the next 2? You had said way back in Feb. that the added qualifiers of days off, ACL & jockey allowed you to lower the bar for qualifiers all the way to 1.85. Are you using this or the original 1.46 or something in the middle?

Thanks,

Ken

Great day yesterday....any of your longshot spot plays combining with the k1's for big exacta results?

Am considering a qualified K1 as a weak-play when either the PL1 or PL5 ratio exceeds 1.50. Generally won't play if either exceeds 1.70 but use that as a signal to look for a "value" horse elsewhere in the race.

The K1**** ended up after several hundred test races as a 54% win 1.08 roi thing. Am currently not playing them unless they "happen" to qualify on something else. I do like to be aware of them and usually include them in any exacta's with longer price horses. Did not play any exacta's yesterday and did not even look at it from exotic's viewpoint.

Am testing a play based on jockey impact values that sometimes includes a K1. Actually must be a K1,K2,K3 to be in play. That was the 11/12 play from yesterday which was unusually high hit rate.
The play seems to hit 52% win and 70% place most days. Have not had a losing day on place bets in last 30 days of testing it.

Thanks George, I'd say that was a pretty good test you've got going.
