Wasn't sure where to put this thread but figured the guys who can do a query probably read this section.

Would appreciate somebody who has at least one year of data for nearly all tracks using the old HTR extract running the following:

rjky=1 and nprb% = 3
rjky=1 and nprb% = 4

Would like to see figures for each of the two percents.
Thanks to anybody who has time to run it.

hows it going with the Neural Net?

Thanks Hurrikane........as tweetie used to say "taught I saw a puddy-tat"....guess not. Wonder why a top jockey would even ride one of those critters?

Think neural nets tend to select "average" too much to be that useful in horseracing. They are quite useful in quickly determing individual "weights" on a combination of input factors. The HSH people seem to be having a lot of fun with genetic algorithm's which is about the same thing. Will be interesting to see if they have long term success with it.

Thanks for running the query.
