Greetings,
I checked for past threads on this issue and found one started by NJC but no answers to that post from 2007.
How does one use the Modeler to evaluate races prior to the Current Race in the Modeler?
I would like to exclude this (current) race from Modeling. Days back, start minus 1, end 30,60, or x.
How does one Save the Setup in the Modeler?
Thanks

Sly, you can use the Modeler to either select past races or a manual setup.
From the main screen, select a different date from the track list (top left, drop down). Then click into the Modeler and the races for those dates will appear in the Modeler listing.
The Modeler can also be used for general testing without selecting any of the races from that current race list. Use the Run Modeler or Full Stats options, they are based on the filter setup and track selection, not the Current Race. You must pick a track(s) from the list on the right.
Use Robot2 if you want to setup a spot play. The Modeler does not save them.
Read = MaxVel User Guide, in the HTR Library for full details.

Ken,
I could be wrong but I think what Sly is asking is how to exclude today's race if results have already been downloaded. This would be helpful to "see" the past race factors that helped the winner today.

There is no way to exclude anything once the results have been downloaded.
But if you really need to see what the Modeler looked like before the race, then just download that Racefile again (without the Results). Now the file is back without any results and you can model it as though it was pre-race. When finished, download the results for it again.

Greetings,
Ken, after having read the Users Manual, I next went to the Search BBS prior to posting my question. I ended up doing a Double post because I was unsure if the first post was recorded and that the initial question (by NJC) was left unanswered for 3 years.

Bob, Thanks for helping out in providing a better explanation of my question.
Ken, Thanks for the work around.

KM,
A Big Thank You Very Very Much goes out to you on the inclusion of this feature in Maxvel.
Hopefully the process to allow us to utilize such a crucial feature was not too tough and look forward to
the inclusion into the Run Modeler and Get Full Stats. Submitted for consideration in a later Upgrade.
Thanks also to NJC for bringing this to the forefront after a three year silence.
Thanks
Sly
