Was looking for a more portable and efficient application for tournaments. With great feedback from jbshoulda, mayo and others, i came up with something cool that will help you analyze races in a hurry and make better decision at tournaments.
Check the General and Tournament forums or click this link to read more

The icon for HTR_TOUR software is a blue 'tower'.

You probably didn't have the Full Installation of regular HTR2, Ronnie (re: PDF instructions)
You need to RUN the Full Install from the Subscriber Zone first. Then RUN the installation for TOUR program.
You might want to Uninstall everything first from the Control Panel / Programs and then start over if Windows has become confused. Be sure to reboot the computer after uninstalling.

That "not a win32" message means incomplete download.

I'm getting a lot great input from email on the new program, thank you.
Will update TOUR.EXE soon after fixing a few bugs and adding some more relevant items
Examples
Blinkers ON or "bo" (Positive item listed in all cases on Tour Buzz)
Front Wraps added Last (Seemingly Negative, but NOT USED in the Tour-Negatives)
In the case of "Front Wraps Last", statistically this is a totally neutral item with no impact on results. "Front Wraps On" today, might be another story, same with various other equipment and shoe changes, but we don't have reliable enough pre-data to include this consistently.
Blinkers ON and L2 are similar scenarios. They are statistically neutral. But i added them to the Buzz because they might open our eyes to possible improvement if combined with a razor sharp workout, or a switch to a hot trainer, or super trainer, etc.
I think the answer for all of the above is to combine with the Trainer Stats grade. If the Trainer is rated an "A" with Blinkers ON, for example, that is a more definitive positive alert. Otherwise these items are pretty much relegated to the Program Screen for visual interest only.
I'll revise the TOUR program as often as necessary and make announcements on here for changes in the .exe and user guide. Next update will be on Monday.

Although I suspect it's a false positive, after installing Htr Tour, Malwarebytes is reporting the unistall.exe the Tour added as a Trojan.Agent
In my case both the uninstall.exe and .ini files are located at c:\ ( root of c )

I'll do some checking.
Someone reported AVG gave it a hit.
I scanned it with both NOD32 and SuperAntiSpyware and got nothing.

I ran Malwarebytes on my computer and it hit on one of the two uninstall files.
I don't think there is a problem but to be on the safe side I would suggest that you delete the uninstall file.

Ken,
TAM-10 4/25 results are different in htr2 and tour software. there was a disqualification of the #7 from first to fifth but htr has it right and tour has it wrong.

Nice catch edster, thank you
That race had both a dead-heat and a dq
The payoff results are correct in both programs (in TOUR, look at the top right for 'results') or click the Program screen to see the full payoffs. The official winner is correct.
The finish positions that appear in the margins are wrong though (same with KM screen in HTR2), and is drawn from the Chart from the orginal order of finish. I'll work on that to correct the conflict in case of DQ like this.
Be aware that the Robot knows the official winner, so there is no problem with testing that race.

I noticed for 03-CD on 04-25-10 HTR_Tour has different NEG Factors/The Buzz versus HTR2.
After adding NLog to HTR2 there were several threads about improving the clarity of NLog and The Buzz items. Then HTR_Tour was made available. Does The Tour have the revised NLog/Buzz items since it was released after HTR2 with NLog?

Yes, the TOUR has an updated NLog vs. KM screen. I'll synchronize them after it is finalized.

I just downloaded the demo with the sample races. What an excellent presentation for the tour player. No wonder I always felt at a disadvantage against the HTR players!!
First time I have looked at HTR in years, but you really have put together a wonderful program Ken.

Ken
I must admit that when the Tour came out, I thought it a toy to lure in the new customer type.
HOWEVER, as usual you have proven to be much smarter than you know who.
Anyway, after sitting and PLAYING live races with the Tour for a week straight night and day I have to say it's a wonderful toy!
A couple of the notations I would like to see have already been added with the new tour program.
As usual, i would like to propose a couple and if others think it wise you could include them as well.
a pop and stop type note
a turn back distance note(and distance)
mid move into a faster (+2 pac) than par pace or is that in the BTL?
I have others, but those are the top ones.
Thx

Thanks 'Tornado, JimG and DelDog for the comments and suggestions.
Del - i pretty have those as spot plays now. Use Robot2 =
1) Fr1 =1, but eliminate "Weak Fr3" , Rule of 50 races, etc. The new Tour bot has some items that work to fish out cheap speed as well.
2) Turn -Back, Route to Sprint is in Robot2 now, you can make some nice spot plays with it. Try PAc=1,2 for starters.
3) Yes, that is part of the key to BTL, exiting a faster paced race. But use Robot2 to filter BTL with some strength, such as *SOLO + EARLY in the new Tour section.
You can be very creative with all those angles using the Robot.
